Apply for financial support from the DPG and the Wilhelm and Else Heraeus Foundation
Heraeus Support Programme for Young Scientists

As a young generation scientists, you are in principle eligible to receive financial support from the German Physical Society (Deutsche Physikalische Gesellschaft) via a funding programme provided by the Wilhelm und Else Heraeus Foundation, for details see https://www.dpg-physik.de/aktivitaeten-und-programme/programme/weh-foerderprogramm/grosse-internationale-tagungen-large-international-conferences

This programme can support up to 50% of the following costs: conference fee, accommodation costs up to € 20,-/night up to 6 nights, daily allowance up to € 24,-/day up to 7 days, travelling costs up to € 0,18/km if the distance between the conference site and your university is more than 70 km.

Prerequisites are that you are a member of DPG and that you have an oral or poster presentation at the conference. The funding is limited to 25 applicants and will be allocated on a first come first serve basis.
